Second Growth Herb Collective provides free herbal medicine and care to local marginalized community members on the Olympic Peninsula, on Skokomish, Chemakum and S’Klallam territory. We also build relationships and share resources with BIPOC healers and herbalists regionally, and we answer requests for medicine from ongoing actions, front lines and communities most impacted by oppression across all colonial borders. We believe in mutual aid and resource redistribution in real time, and we work to share the abundance of plant medicine around us with the folks who need it most. We are always working toward an anti-oppressive and culturally respectful herbalism, both in our own practices and in the herbalism community at large.

Here are some of the projects we are proud to work on:-Herbal medicine contributions to local free CSA for BIPOC-Hot tea at Potluck in the Park and at the Recovery Cafe-Community medicine making days, where folks learn by helping us make things!-Spring plant drives in support of Indigenous herbalists and farmers-Herbal mocktails at pride events-Herbal medicine support for events, actions, local activists and organizers, and front line/ongoing actions that have put out public calls for medicine or with whom we have personal relationships-Personalized herbal medicine for individual community members
